Stage 1 — Conservation Advisory
Purpose: Reduce seasonal strain on water resources during peak usage months.

Effective: May 23, 2025
Monthly Usage
Limit: 10,000 gallons per household
Outdoor Watering:
- Minimal outdoor use, including irrigation
- All hoses must have automatic shut-off nozzles
- Flood irrigation is prohibited
Repairs: All water leaks must be identified and repaired immediately.
Noncompliance:
Residents exceeding limits will be notified using the contact
information provided (email, phone, U.S. mail, or door notice). If noncompliance continues 3 days after notice, the
District reserves the right to shut off water service if overuse is jeopardizing community water
security.
Stage 2 — Water Use Restriction
Purpose: Ensure system stability and preserve water for basic needs.
Communication:
- Email notification
- Website announcement
- Notice on the community board
Effective: Triggered when storage levels fall below 75% or after prolonged Stage 1
noncompliance.
Monthly Usage
Limit: 4,000 gallons per meter
Outdoor Watering: Prohibited
Other Restrictions:
- All water leaks must be repaired immediately
- No topping off pools or hot tubs
- Hoses must have automatic shut-off nozzles
Noncompliance: Residents will be notified of violations using contact information on file. After 24 hours
without compliance, the District may shut off water service if overuse threatens community water
security.
Stage 3 — Critical Water Emergency
Purpose: Preserve water for essential needs only.
Communication:
- Posted signs
- Email notification
- Website announcement
- Notice on the community board
Effective: Triggered when water supply levels are critically low or system stability is at
risk.
Monthly Usage
Limit: 2,000 gallons per household
Allowed Use: Essential purposes only (drinking, cooking, hygiene)
Noncompliance: The District reserves the right to shut off water
service immediately if overuse endangers community water security.
